Years ago I bought one of the early Incra all metal table saw fences. I installed my incra TS fence on my bitten up Bosch 4001-9, contractors portable saw and very happy with performance. What the Incra fence does is allow for precise and repeatable fence alignment on your table saw:. I’d like to add an igaging digital rip fence if at all possible. The Bosch 4100 is a very popular jobsite saw, so I doubt you’ll have much trouble selling it. I have the digital rip gauge, set mine up meticulously, have the left and rear outfeeds, an Incra 1000SE miter gauge, and a WWII blade.
It’s either cobble up something to accommodate my Bosch 4100 and the Rousseau 2775 stand along with a router table or just give up on the silk purse/sow’s ear thing, bite the bullet and start from scratch. From the videos it looks like an excellent router table setup but I’m wondering just how good it works as a table saw fence. I’ve been using a Bosch 4100 contractor table saw for 2 years now. The fence on mine always requires micro-adjustments on every setup, so I’ve been looking into an Incra or Beis fence system. See what actual owners are saying about Bosch table saw models. I don’t care for the quality of the supplied miter gauge, but it looks like my Incra will fit. The 4100DG-09 has the same stand, plus a fence with an electronic digital readout.
Leaning toward the Bosch 4100 (with blade upgrade and rousseau table) but started considering the sawstop jobsite saw. I am looking for preferably for a portable 10 table saw due to space limitations. It’s alot cheaper, on par with the Bosch, better fence and warranty. In the Infinity Wood Lab, the Incra Miter 5000 Miter Sled definitely fits that description. The second thing the sled features is an anodized fence that telescopes from 36 to an enviable 64.
Incra Fence. Anybody Have One?
I use the incra ts ls and the link table indicates your table saw could be modified to accomodate the incra fence. I’d defer back to the initial question – what’s the goal because I’m not sure I’d put that fence on that ts. I keep a Bosch GTS1031 portable table saw around in storage here’s the review for my occasional but not very frequent needs, as it’s extremely compact and portable while still being capable. For the fence, I have used a shelf which we had laying around. I have a Bosh 4100 table saw, and am using the Bosch TS3000 Gravity Rise stand. I am waiting for a Delta T2 replacement fence to arrive by UPS – the factory fence is absolute junk. I have a bosch 4100 and a incra router table. was planning a cabinet to fit them all together so i can get the TS-Ls rails to work with them both. Step on the end of each setup bar used to test the fence depth of a table saw blade or Router Bit. Bosch Table Saw makes fence adjustments fast, smooth and accurate. I am narrowing down my selection for a miter gauge for my Bosch 4100 table saw. I have it down to the Incra 1000SE or the Kreg KMS7102. I am wondering if any of you guys have a strong preference either way or any experience using them on a 4100. The fence just seems more robust. Can’t wait for you to do a review on which ever one you get. The saw I’m seriously looking at is the Bosch 4100-09 but from examining a sample at a local big box store, I have some concerns. The fence was also parallel to the blade out of the box, but is easy to align.
