A paneled freestanding wall consists of a lightweight wood frame and wood or vinyl paneling on one or both sides. A detachable wood base allows the wall to be moved with relative ease. I need some ideas as to how I can stablize the end of the wall that is not connected to the ceiling. These will become the studs of the wall. Because one end will have the support of the wall and the other end will not, it is best to support the free standing end by positioning the studs closer together.
